Completed Fast Track Initiatives

Activities which are accepted by the IGBP-SC as Fast Track Initiatives may hold this status for up to a maximum of 3 years. After 3 years many of the activities continue within a Core Project.

Completed FTIs:

• The Planet in 2050 (2006-2008)

• Ocean Acidification over Time (2005-2008) in collaboration with SCOR

• The Global Iron Cycle (2003-2005) in collaboration with SCOR

• The Global Nitrogen Cycle (2003-2005) in collaboration with SCOPE

• The role of Fire in the Earth System (2003-2006)
